Isaac's Fire Engine Birthday Cake

Isaac loves firemen and wants to be one when he grows up, so for his birthday I made this firetruck fondant cake and we all went to take a tour of the fire station.  It was lots of fun!

I cheated this time around to save myself some stress, and bought red fondant at the store, and yellow & black edible paper sheets for the details.  This saved me hours of work, and was totally worth it!

Russell's Military-Themed Coming Home Cake

I threw a coming home party for my brother who is in the military, and is visiting for a few weeks.  We haven't seen him in a year and a half so I wanted to go all out and make a great cake.  And here's the result!

I made homemade blue piping gel for the water which could have looked better but the first coat I put on ran down the sides of the cake, so I let it drip off before adding a thicker gel.

John's Racing Themed Birthday

For John's racing-themed birthday party, I made this awesome racing cake as a stadium with people in the stands watching the races.  It was so much fun!

Isaac's Toy Story Cake

Isaac likes green and blue, so for his 4th birthday (and my 4th cake) I made a simple blue cake with green stars and the green alien "OOOOH" man on top!

Here's my next cake I made for my brother's birthday! He's really into theater and film, so I thought this would be the perfect theme.

A special cake made for my little butterfly who would be 5, but flew to heaven.

I love making cakes, and this is only my 2nd attempt!  For my little Isaac's Birthday in September I'm making a blue & green fondant cake, but haven't decided on a theme. Maybe Buzz Lightyear? lol.

Fabulous Princess-Themed Castle Cake!

My very first fondant cake, and quite a labor of love!  I made this castle cake for my little girl's first birthday party.  Seven days of work later, here is the finished product!
